So here are my candidates for best sounding engines currently on the market, as supplied by the factory. Optional factory sport/race exhaust are allowed, but no aftermarket setups. Cylinder count is the only breakout - any configuration (V, inline, boxer, etc) and NA or FI is acceptable.
Personally I think the Huracan sounds the best. The Lotus Evora 400 also sounds incredibly good (especially that it is a V6). What do you think?
New 4-cylinder: Porsche 718 Cayman
New 6-cylinder: Lotus Evora 400
New 8-cylinder: McLaren 720S
New 10-cylinder: Huracan Performante
New 12-cylinder: Aventador (factory race exhaust)
